Seen many eye doctors over the years after a dirtbike crash I could see bight spots moving around on bright surfaces and in the blue sky every other doctor looked at me like I was very very delusional and no joke Dr Casey bateman knew right away what it was it took me 20 years to get a answer! Dr Casey bateman took time to see me on his lunchbreak got me in and out fast.. he is very knowledgeable and explains things very well a real gem for eye doctors would recommend him 110% - Ben - 9/29/2024 

My Dad had a stroke and was not seeing clearly. Went to eye Dr and they said everything looked good. Not good enough. Went to MN Eye Institute for a second opinion. He had lasix surgery there years ago. They knew what to as going on and gave him a prescription for classes that should straighten out his eyes so he can read and watch TV without seeing double. Fantastic experience! Minnesota Eye Institute is the only place offering LASIK in the Alexandria, which is much more convenient then traveling to St. Cloud or the Twin Cities. The entire process was very efficient after I initially reached out and indicated I was interested in getting LASIK. I had an initial meeting with Dr. Nelson before scheduling anything to ensure I was a good candidate for LASIK, and once that was established I was able to schedule my surgery soon after. I was seen by Dr. Nelson before the surgery and immediately after, as well as the next morning to make sure everything was healing correctly. I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process and I could not be happier with the results, simply life changing!
